[The audio starts broadcasting the gentle sounds of the outdoors long before she speaks. Her voice is a little raw. She's been crying, but she's trying not to let it sound.]

[Another long pause.]

I'm sorry I'm not contacting everyone individually. I'm not sure who they know well. ...Knew.

[There's another pause, but this time when she returns her voice is a little shakier. All the practice and control in the world can't take the pain out of these words.]

My brother, Lelouch, and sister, Nunnally, have left the City.

[It sounds like she might say more, but after a moment the audio shuts off.]

I don't think there's anything wrong with hoping for it. Even if we know that people're better off where they are, it's totally normal to wish they were with us instead of wherever they went.
