My planet needs something like Cephiro’s Pillar system in order to save it from destruction.

And there is a more personal reason as well… but he is VERY secretive about that.
]
Those girls want to protect Cephiro from outside invasion and see an end to the Pillar System I am fighting to gain control of.

Might be not understanding the Lelouch/Suzaku thing… as this anime if one I intended to watch but haven’t yet managed to do so.
