I wouldn’t think so! But, for a while there was a holiday once a month. That still seems like a lot.


The purpose of this celebration is to say fair well to the old year and hello to the new? We have a celebration like that on Autozam, but I’m sure Earth’s version must have stark differences.

We hold a large mecha tournament… which come to think of it, is what we do for a lot of holidays…

But, the winner of the tournament is the one who stands on the dais with other important figures, including our President, and helps to welcome in the new year during a rather large outdoor festival.

Oh, that sounds like fun! We don't normally have a tournament specifically for the new year, although some people like to play games. There's usually food, drinks, and games. The most important part is the countdown to midnight. People often have noise makers and streamers and shout. Ah, it's also tradition to kiss someone at midnight.
