[It doesn't take long. Rita jogs over as soon as she spots Euphie (easy, with that hair).] Hey, Euphie!

Good afternoon, Rita. [She smiles warmly and waves at her as Tumbles makes his way over for the pettings! Oooh, the pettings.] He's so eager to see everyone today.

Uh...Yeah, I guess...[What do you mean, dogs want pettings? Rita's never heard something like this! And she might be trying to skirt around him.]

[Persistent Tumbles is persistent. There my be leg nuzzling and potential tripping over the evasive woman.] Do you like dogs?

Uh, well--they're not bad- [And Tumbles is small and not at all scary, not that she's ever been scared of dogs! She just feels the need to stop right where she is. And talk to the little guy.] H-hey, you dog! What's your problem?

He's hoping you'll pet him. He likes you. [You can't tsun a dog, Rita.]

Oh...Like this...? [Can she dere? Still very unsure! But she reaches her hand down hesitantly.]

Yes. [Tumbles nuzzles up against her hand.]

He likes it when you scratch behind his ears. [And after a beat since it seems like maybe she really never has done this before...] Gently.

Ah- [She almost jerks her hand back, but keeps it steady. And a glance over at Euphie seems to confirm that everything's fine.] Right. [The top of his head is really soft. Gently, she moves her fingers behind one of his ears.] Is this good?

[Tumbles pants happily.] You're doing great.

I thought maybe you'd be used to dogs with Repede. Then again Repede isn't like most dogs is he?

Th-thanks...[Rita finally makes a tiny smile. Once she starts petting him, it's not so bad.]

Repede's the only dog I really know, but this pooch is pretty different.

He certainly doesn't smoke. [Smiles] But I think he gets along with Repede. [Better than she does.]

So Repede likes little runts? [Blunt, but not unkind. She's already warming up to Tumbles.] It's too bad he left... [She misses Repede!]

Yeah, he left a little while ago. Now we're left with someone else's mutt.

Hmm...Beats me. Yuri might have mentioned it, but I don't really remember. He's been left with a bunch of people's pets, anyway.

He does seem to really like animals, doesn't he?

Yeah, I guess he does. [She crouches down to get a bit more comfortable near Tumbles.] Have you you introduced this little guy to him yet?

Oh, yes, he loves Yuri. [Tumbles loves most people. He will nuzzle at you, Rita~] Yuri seems pretty fond of him too.

[And she can't help but smile a little!] He sure has a thing for dogs, doesn't he?

He seems to. I think you could be on your way to liking them too.
