[Her voice is a little flatter than usual and she doesn't turn on the video like she normally does.]

Please be careful in the cold. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, but the welcome center does have extra coats and blankets to lend or give if anyone is without.

[She nods even if she isn't on camera.] It was Suzaku. He was the only one left from my world. [And more than that too her.]

[Eagle does recall that memory clip he saw, so the gravity of Suzaku’s leaving is not lost on him. ]

[She hesitates, feeling a prickling in her eyes, so she keeps them closed.]

He... He'll come back. [She just wants to believe this so much. And with these last memories. Please. If it were to all go back to the way it was before... It's too hard. It just can't.]

[If it weren’t for the blizzard he would offer to take her out for some tea. Just to give her some company and a friendly distraction… since that wasn’t really an option today the only thing he could do was offer his support via video. ]

I’m certain he will. You will just have to try and be strong until he can return. I’m sure he wouldn’t want to think he made you sad.

[She shakes her head, again unseen, but the brushing of her long hair against the device might be noticeable.] No, he wouldn't want that. It would upset him. [She's trying!]

Its fine to miss him though… until he returns.
[He didn’t want to leave her with the impression it was wrong to be sad. ]

[Softly.] I do. [Things between them were finally so good.]

It was just yesterday. I checked the hall last night when he didn't come home and he didn't answer his device. [She couldn't believe it. She felt silly even going there so quickly, but she thought it would make her feel better. It didn't.]

It is difficult when people disappear so quickly. It doesn’t leave any time to say anything to them.

[At least a parting goodbye might have made this easier. ]

But, he could reappear as quickly as he left. It is a little too soon to know.

[Her throat feels thick and unusable so she nods at first.] That's why I thought it was better not to announce it yet.

But, then you would have had to worry all by yourself. Wouldn’t it be better to let your friends know about it?

[Not… that Eagle himself would, but the rules are different for you. :P]

I... yes, I think you're right. But you've all been so supportive already when Lelouch left and my other friends. I don't want to burden anyone.

I understand that. That kind of feeling is one I often have. I just don’t want you to feel like you are alone.

[The only thing worse than being sad is being sad and alone.]

[She smiles softly.] It wouldn't be right to feel that way here, would it? Not when I have so many good friends who can tell when I'm not feeling like myself from just a little post.

Still it is nice to hear that you are appreciated when you are feeling a little down, isn’t it? And I do mean it, if there is anything I can do for you all you need to do is ask.

[She nods.]

Maybe we could have lunch together sometime. [Just so she isn't spending time alone.]

That would be very nice. Maybe some time once the snow has melted away again.
