[Someone has been wanting to keep herself distracted after a particularly difficult curse followed by her knight leaving the city.]

Hello everyone, I've been wondering if anyone knows of any available jobs I might be suited for. I don't really have any practical work experience. I don't think being a princess and a sub-viceroy count. But I think I take direction well, and I could learn.

[He didn't know why he was go, or what he expected to see. All he knew was, with very few exceptions, everyone around here at least looked human. As such, must like back home, he did most of his moving at night, over the rooftops, or through the subway tunnels, keeping out of everyone's way. As it was, when he got to building 7, he didn't go in the front, but climbed up the side. All the buildings were identical as far as organization, and finding the apartment wasn't hard. He found a window and gave a gentle tap.]

[When waiting for a knock at the door it's a little surprising to hear a tap at the window instead. She walks over, unable to really see anything through the curtain.] Raphael? Is that, [she pulls it open to see...a giant turtle person... Her expression is a little blank.] you?

[She was way more beautiful than Raph had been expecting, but he was pretty good at acting like he didn't care. He was perched on the window sill as comfortably as any bird.]

'Sup?

[A smile breaks out on her face.] You're so cute! [She didn't necessarily mean to say that, but look at him! He's a turtle!

She unlatches the window and pushes it up to open it for him.]

[Very confused is Raphael, not to mention, he isn't sure how he feels about being called cute. Part of him says he's a bamf ninja, and is in no way cute, but then another part says...dude, a really cute girl just said you're cute...] Uh....thanks... [He slides in through the open window after she opens it.]

[Still smiling at him.] I've climbed out of a window before, but I didn't go back in that way.

[He looks back at the window, then back to Euphie.] I, uh...habit?

Just don't fall, okay?

[He laughs] I haven't fallen since I was a kid.

Why were you sneaking into windows when you were a kid? [A little teasingly.]

Because me and my brothers and our Master are the only people in New York who ain't human.

That means you sneak into windows?

[He shrugs] It means we don't get ta walk down the street or use the elevator.

[Reaches out and touches his hand.] That must have been difficult.

[He turns and crosses his arms.] Yeah, whatever.

[She tilts her head, watching him. Did she upset him?] ...Can I get you anything?

[He doesn't like feeling as though she's pitying him.] Not if it's just 'cause you feel bad for me.

Is that what you think? That I would only be a good hostess if I felt bad for my company? [You're being lightly chided here.]

[He looks down and away. Now he feels bad.] I...no.

[Smiles] We have tea or lemonade or water.

[She's nothing like April, and so, Raph is awkward.] Uh, lemonade I guess.

All right. [She moves to the kitchen which is open and visible to where they are now.] You probably get thirsty climbing into windows.

[He follows her to the door.] Only if it's over the 10th story.

[Giggles a little at that as she pours her drink. She doesn't bother getting anything for herself.] Here you are.

[He accepts it and nods.] Thanks. So, why're you headed to the cafe?
