[Another long pause.]

I'm sorry I'm not contacting everyone individually. I'm not sure who they know well. ...Knew.

[There's another pause, but this time when she returns her voice is a little shakier. All the practice and control in the world can't take the pain out of these words.]

My brother, Lelouch, and sister, Nunnally, have left the City.

[It sounds like she might say more, but after a moment the audio shuts off.]

Yes, it is just between the two of us. Since neither one of us actually knew how to cook it is an… incentive… to learn.

Umi has a clear advantage though, since she already knows how to bake. And… is familiar with Earth ingredients…

But, I intend to defeat her anyway.

It is only because we are working at cross purposes. If the situation were at all different maybe I would have chosen a different path. But, this is what I have decided on and I can’t give up on it.

Even if it means that I have to fight against those girls.

My planet needs something like Cephiro’s Pillar system in order to save it from destruction.

[And there is a more personal reason as well… but he is VERY secretive about that. ]

Those girls want to protect Cephiro from outside invasion and see an end to the Pillar System I am fighting to gain control of.



[Might be not understanding the Lelouch/Suzaku thing… as this anime if one I intended to watch but haven’t yet managed to do so. ]

Yes... I know. [They've discussed it before. She doesn't have any better answers for him. She just wishes things were different.]

Maybe someday a happier solution can be found.
