[The audio starts broadcasting the gentle sounds of the outdoors long before she speaks. Her voice is a little raw. She's been crying, but she's trying not to let it sound.]

[Another long pause.]

I'm sorry I'm not contacting everyone individually. I'm not sure who they know well. ...Knew.

[There's another pause, but this time when she returns her voice is a little shakier. All the practice and control in the world can't take the pain out of these words.]

My brother, Lelouch, and sister, Nunnally, have left the City.

[It sounds like she might say more, but after a moment the audio shuts off.]

Mm, I'm staying at Hanna's tonight. [She didn't want to go back to the apartment she'd shared with her brother and sister so soon, and he'd offered.]
