[She finished dinner not long ago and just like every meal she'd had since coming here, she wasn't hungry before eating it. She didn't even think about eating except when Lelouch would mention it. And while everything tasted good, she found herself eating less and less each time.
There were other strange things too. Everyone else always felt so much warmer when she touched them. And then there were the dreams or were they memories? Suzaku holding her hand. The medical equipment...
She's been here about three weeks now, and it's getting harder to ignore that something is different.]
Hello, everyone, I've heard a few things about people coming here who are not...alive anymore where they come from. I was just wondering what that's like if someone wouldn't mind talking about it.

Your heart no longer beats, and you're unable to produce any sort of body heat. You find soon enough that novelties such as eating and breathing are also quite optional.
But that is the case for any of the deceased here, whether they died in this world or theirs.

Holding.
Holding.
Holding... Nothing. It isn't uncomfortable at all. She should really reply.]
So, you died? I'm sorry. Are there many people here who have died?

She sets the channel to private.]
I wanted to be sure. ...I must have died too.

[A little awkward laugh] It's hard to know what to say in situations that shouldn't be possible.
Mmm, my name is Euphemia, but you can call me Euphie.
[private]
Is there anything else you wanted to know?
[private]
Well, I'm not sure. Is there anything else I should know? Do I just keep...living normally other than those things?
Is it possible to die again?
[private]
In theory, yes. Even though our blood technically no longer flows, we can still bleed to death if we're wounded badly enough. I'm unaware if asphyxiation or drowning will have the same affect on us, since we should be able to hold our breath indefinitely, but the City is often throwing curve balls.
If you do die again, then you ought to be back in a day or so, perhaps a little longer. As far as I know, there is no penalty for dying numerous times, though I would suggest rethinking one's habits if that is the case.

...You mean I'll always be 16?
[private]
...Physically, yes.
[private]
[Pauses to think about what that means. How could she ever get married? Or... No, children probably weren't possible at all. Not that she was even close to ready, but she always thought someday...]
Ah, it's a little silly so be concerned with the details, isn't it? It's just nice to have a second chance like this.
[private]
Given that this is now your life...so to speak, it's only natural to be curious about how to go about it. My only suggestion is to enjoy what time you do still have with friends, since they or you could disappear at any moment.
[private]
Wesley, are you a scientist? [She is a little reminded of some she'd met with the way he speaks.]

Have you been here very long? Oh, I'm asking too many questions, aren't I? [Yes, that was another question.]
[private]
Myself? ...Nearly a year, now.
[private]
I think it's something I've known for awhile now, but...I didn't want to know it. ...If that makes any sense.
[private]
[ Awkward, sob. He's never been great with teens. ]
...Well, you sound like a sensible enough girl. I'm certain you'll find a way to get through this.
[private]
You don't need to worry. I have my older brother here with me.
...I guess he must already know about this. That should make it easier to talk about. [Poor Lelouch... All this time.]

You...must come from an alternate version of Earth. That, or an entirely different timeline.
