[Euphie is at the Welcome Center completing tasks. She's been in a much more enthusiastic mood since Suzaku's return to the City. Things are definitely looking up! And her to do list is going so well. Some of these things she may just be completing victoriously.]


(OOC: Euphie is cursed today, but if you want to tag without a kiss just let me know or just have your character push her away. I'm sure we can manage to accomplish no victories beyond good threading times if desired. ^^)

Sorta. Not really. Mostly I just get like, specific deliveries. I'm too fast to deliver pizza I guess, I get bored waiting between orders.

Maybe you should deliver for all the pizza places. [Smiles] Or pick up a hobby. Knitting? [She might be teasing. Also, the boxes of supplies are ready!]

I don't think knitting's my thing. [He picks up what looks to be the heaviest of her packages.] I'll get by though, no worries.

[She picks up the other and off they go!] All right. No worrying for you. At least not on a nice day like this.

Exactly. It's your day off, right?

[He lets her lead and set the pace, for reasons that are probably obvious.]

Yes. I guess you think I should be doing something more fun than getting supplies for the welcome center, don't you? [It's not too far away!]

[team_sociopath]

I think most people would. It's not the same thing.

[deadly_legacy]

I guess not, but I do enjoy it. I want to be able to help people. [It relieves some of the guilt of when she hurt them.]

[He just smiles a bit. Tommy might not be as idealistic as the rest of the Young Avengers, but that doesn't mean he can't relate to what she's saying.]

See, now I'd sound like a jerk if I complained about carrying stuff.

[Not that he would, anyway. Whenever they get to the Center, he manages to shoulder the door open for them.]

At least I know you're not a jerk, so you'd be safe even if that happened.

[She walks over to a table and sets her box down.] You can put that one right here.

[And of course once he does it will be a job well done, won't it? They'll have to celebrate somehow. Confetti? Flavored tea? Or maybe she could move closer to him...]

[At least, to his minimal credit, Tommy is actually cursed and not only opportunistic. Though he is opportunistic, too. In any case when he leans in to kiss her after putting the box down, it's compulsion, though not one he's fighting.]

[She hasn't achieved any successful fighting of this curse and this time is no exception as she meets him eagerly, sliding her arms around his neck and meeting his kiss fully.]

[Maybe this lasts a little longer that it strictly has to. Tommy's taking the fifth on that count, and finally he pulls away, not looking the least bit embarrassed.]

[Her cheeks flush slightly, but she doesn't look away.] It's a strange curse today. [She might sound just a hair breathless at first.]

[He'll just take that as a compliment, yeah?]

Yup. [A pause.] Need a hand with anything else?

[It's a genuine offer, not just fishing for an excuse to make out more.]

[He definitely can.

His question makes her laugh though.] What a strange pick up line today. [Even if it was intended with the noblest of reasons.]

Hey, at least you get some use out of it.

It's not like it's usually useless.

[Hey, if you want him to stick around and make out just say the word, Euphie.]

I mean it, though. I'll lend a hand.

Well... I do need to unpack these boxes if you'd like to help with that. That would be nice. I could even spend some of today not working. [She's kind of wondering if Suzaku would mind. Maybe She should have stayed home, but she really is getting a lot done and there haven't been too many kisses!]
