She thinks Shing is very sweet. He's easy to talk to and get along with. He seems open and honest and she's glad they've become friends.
She hasn't opened up to him as much as she has with some of her other friends, since it usually takes some unpreventable circumstances to draw it out. She's not at all opposed to getting closer to Shing. She's learned more about him and she feels a little protective of him. It sounds like he's had some hard times, so she wants to be there for him.
She feels very relaxed and comfortable around Yuri. He makes her feel less like a princess and more like a regular girl which she enjoys even if it is a little odd at times.
She might even be a little taken with him if he wasn't taken.
She likes him and Flynn very much and she's glad they have each other even if she doesn't really understand their relationship. Why all the fighting, boys? He's definitely someone she cares about and considers a friend, and she hopes he feels the same.
At the moment all I can think is CHIBI!FLYNN IS ADORABLE!!!! *cough*
Euphie really likes Flynn. She feels safe with him and enjoys his company. He definitely reminds her of Suzaku which she usually sees as a good thing instead of a sad thing. He's handsome and kind and strong in his convictions even if she doesn't always agree with them.
She sees him as a friend and substitute knight but when the occasion comes she will also blush over certain things. She has noticed how attractive he is and as more time goes by it's easier to not push thoughts like that away. (Of course with an impending Suzaku...)
She would like to spend more time with him, especially now that two of her other close friends, Allen and Yuuki, have left the City. She likes his group of friends especially Yuri and Ino.
She is still a little formal with him (unless he is a chibi) which is partially because he is a little formal with her. In some ways she is more comfortable and relaxed around someone like Yuri, but it doesn't make her any less interested in being around Flynn.
She loves Lelouch. He's one of the most important people in her world. They were extremely close as children, and the way I see it, she really didn't have that many friends even with people always around. And I think after he and Nunnally went away she was very lonely. By then Cornelia had a lot of duties to attend to so did older siblings.
Friends were hard to have because she was really only around siblings and it was such a competitive atmosphere. Other people were older and generally paid to be there and didn't want to compromise their livelihoods befriending a lonely little princess. Anyway, because of this I believe her most treasured memories are when they were children together. And then finding him again, even with all the awful things he was doing, she couldn't do anything but love him and want to find a way to put him back in her life. And, to be fair, she was aware of Britannia doing awful things too. Really, to be meaningful in her life it is required that you be a mass murderer.
She doesn't see everything Lelouch has done as good, but she does believe he is a good person. She would forgive him for just about anything.
Having this chance to be with him again makes her so happy. She doesn't blame him for what happened at the SAZ. She knows it was an accident and believes it is something he still feels guilty about. For this reason she would like not to ever seem sad about it around him. However, he is easily the person she is closest to right now and since they live together and she trust him, he does see some of it. But she's been getting better. It's still a lot to deal with, but she wants to be strong for Lelouch.
She likes being close to him in any sense, and has enjoyed occasionally sharing his bed. (Platonicly!) As much as she enjoys having him to herself she also wants him to make friends like she has, and so he is going to be drug along a lot as her escort in hopes he'll enjoy himself. And she just likes spending time with him, so it's win-win, right?
She would like him to open up a little more about his life. As comfortable as they have gotten, he hasn't shared much with her except the things she has specifically asked to know. She doesn't want to pry, but she wants him to feel like he can open up and trust her.
*Stole the first part from my response to Kay's Lelouch. ;_;
She really likes Setsuna. He feels familiar to her like someone she might have known in her world even if he isn't. She is used to being around people who are a little (or a lot) guarded or uncomfortable in social settings. She thinks he's actually very sweet and has been touched by his desire to protect her in her dream and by his encouragement to join the Curse Brigade. She considers him a friend and she trusts him. She also enjoys finding opportunities to draw him out a little more like building snowmen together. He isn't a project for her or anything, but she enjoys seeing that side of him.
She finds just about everything about Karen confusing. And Euphie doesn't mean to be harsh, but is it possible she is a little...challenged? There may also have been just the slightest touch of...jealousy protectiveness over Flynn when she found out they had kissed. After all, he deserves to be with someone just as intelligent, brave, and sweet as him. Not that she wants to say Karen isn't those things... After all, they only spoke once and it was through typing...for some reason.
Sorry for my lateness! I wish I could say it is because I was coming up with some really in depth tl;dr for you, but...
Huey gets instant bonus points for being a kid. Probably not what he wants bonus points for, but there you have it! His youth, intelligence, and ability to see the realities of the world remind her of her family (Lelouch, Cornelia, and Schneizel especially). Of course as much as that endears her it also makes her a little sad when children can't just be children.
She is curious about him and what his world and life are like. And she likes him. She'd be protective of him. She's a little skeptical about his physical prowess with weapons and fighting. She would be impressed and a little mystified to see them in action.
She likes Ken and cares about him. She worries about him when he is doing dangerous things or sounds unhappy. He has things in his past too and she feels a little closer to him having shared about their histories. And a little because he is city!dead too, though it's different since he died here—worse somehow maybe because it was so recent. She doesn't ever like the idea of killing of course, but she believes his profession was coming from a place of wanting to make the world better. This reminds her of Lelouch. Even if she can't agree with the methods it doesn't mean she'd abandon the person.
And, seriously, good kisser. Most people that day were surprised and trying to get her to stop. She might blush a little when she thinks about it.
It's no bother! It's a little early, so I'm sure things will change a bit.
Euphie really liked Iroh even though they only spoke once, so she was happy to meet the nephew he'd been searching for. Even with Katara being very much not his biggest fan, she thinks he is a good person who lets his temper get a little carried away at times. She's a little amused by his outbursts really, but she also feels like he could use a friend.
She picks up on some of the loneliness in him I think. She doesn't like feeling lonely herself. She grew up in a huuuuuge family—comically huge—and even though neither of her parents were really in her life (a little headcanon-y here) she had siblings that meant everything to her. But then Lelouch and Nunnally were sent away and her older siblings like Cornelia and Schneizel had important duties to take on, so they couldn't spend as much time with her. Consequently, her fondest memories are of early childhood and everything after that has a thread of loneliness running through it.
Am I just rambling about Euphie now? Aaaanyway, she doesn't want Zuko to be lonely! Of course this isn't quite on a conscious level here. I think she would like him more as she gets to know him.
She will also not be at all afraid to scold him if he gets too out of control with things. ^^
She thinks Stork is so sweet and kind hearted. He is definitely peculiar, but she likes that about him too. He surprises her and makes her smile. She does have to worry about him because he is always so...well, worried about things. Germs anyway. He seems so skittish about certain things, but she feels he is brave.
The fact that he has seen such bad things about her but still wanted to be around her to the point of forcing his way over makes her smile. She'd be happy to play cloud chess with him any day.
Wait to post it or wait to ask for her thoughts, because she is so very confused.
Three meetings and each of them possibly more confusing than the one before it. But she doesn't dislike him. He seems nice, just...very surprising and confusing. He fits into the same odd category the boy Alice fits into for her.
I'm always so late with these! Buuuut now there is more to talk about. Heh.
If you look up to see how his rating compares to others you should know that pretty much everyone needs to go up a heart or a half a heart. She is finding it easier to attach to people as she stays here. I should really stop giving them. She hates rating people.
Aaaaaaanyway...
She does like Hanna! She thinks he's sweet and open and, well, kind of outwardly emotional actually. And there is something in all that she really admires and finds curious.
The royal family was very competitive with brothers and sisters vying for choice spots in the empire. Her father believed in survival of the fittest and this applied to his children as well as to the countries he sought to overthrow. Euphie is a little insecure. She has always had smarter, stronger, and more talented siblings. She never really knew where she fit in, but she didn't want to be better than them. She just wanted to make them happy and proud. And she didn't want to be alone. She never really had parental figures in her life. Her father was distant and imposing. Her mother was (headcannoned because she is never mentioned) a non-presence in her life. Two of the siblings she was closest to were exiled and then pronounced dead. Her older sister always looked out for her, but she was also very driven and had duties to attend to as did many of her siblings. I also assume that there were lots of politics involved and many mothers were probably strategic about who they let their children play with. So, despite the overwhelming numbers in her family I think Euphie grew up as a girl who was always surrounded by people, but also in many ways alone.
Aaaaaaand what this has to do with Hanna. She finds him easy to talk to, and liked him right away. All his openness is a little hard for her to understand, but she likes it about him too. She just doesn't relate to it very well sometimes. She was surprised to learn he (*hopes I'm remembering this right*) thought of her like a sister or maybe it was a close friend. Either way, she was surprised because even though she thought of him as a friend she didn't feel as close at the time, but it made her want to be closer to him. She found it very touching.
Mmm, and then there was the actual touching. She hadn't thought about Hanna romantically. Really, with all the romantic fallout in her life over both Suzaku and Ken, she hasn't really *thought* of anyone romantically although she does have deep connections and sparks with some people. Hanna hasn't been one of those, but she does trust him and like him. And now she thinks maybe he likes her. She isn't sure what she should do. She doesn't want to disappoint him. She wouldn't want to reject him. She is a little unsure about the things they did together. She knows she was pushing it on him, but she did that with many people and for the most part they stopped her advances rather than enjoying them. It hurts the trust a little, but not too much. She saw him trying to stop it at times and she knows it didn't go too far because of him. Really, the kissing she doesn't mind. It might still be a little awkward because of everything though.
It may also be possible that she'll start seeing him in a less platonic way. Whether that develops into more it's hard to say at this point. It may just mean she's more aware of things around him.
:D It's okay, it's just cool that you saw it. D: I was afraid it'd get blanked or LJ would muck about yet.
He's very awkward, which I really like. It makes his relationships with people in the City much more interesting...
:) I like your headcanon. It makes sense with the information you got from the official canon too. Which is awesome.
D: I don't blame her for being confused, honestly. Her relationships are rocky at best.
Right now, Hanna knows he's got a bit of a crush. But he also knows that Euphie's been through a lot, he's violated her trust, and that even before that, she only really liked him as a friend. So for now, I Think he'll back off, try to go back to platonic, and maybe talk to her about it later. Since Caspian told him to. :3
Because she's more aware, he'll just be more careful about what he says or expresses around her in regards to said crush. :) If she did see him in a not-so platonic way, that would rock. But hey, if she doesn't, he's just glad she's still his friend. Hanna values his friends very much.
Also totally unrelated, but Tessa, the author/artist for 'HiNABN', made a facebook page for Hanna, and it had his birthday on it. So I know now! :D
Also, my post or yours for their dinner? We could get it started? Not sure if you'd want to backdate to Friday or put it on Saturday with a curse going on. I wasn't sure what thought you'd give Hanna if any.
:D Action is actually a bit better for me...'s easier for me to remember to respond to it, so. I'll go get that up! :D I just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing.
She enjoys Tommy. He's easy, breezy, beautiful, cov...er...*cough* Tommy is fun. When things get a bit too serious she knows she can go to him so relieve some of that stress and heaviness that settles in her heart from too many harsh curses, traumatizing past issues, or losses in friends and family of the City.
It's not that she doesn't think there is more substance to Tommy. She's run a mile through a wall in his shoes after all. She has seen parts of his past through curses and she believes he must have a lot of pain and loss of his own. She would absolutely open up to him or encourage him to open up to her if he showed signs of wanting that. As it is she feels like there is a line she can get to—just so far and no farther. (heh) For now this is all right with her. She doesn't mind being a quieter sort of support for him while he is a more fun sort of support for her.
And it's not all about being supportive. They aren't underwear! So while she doesn't always get Tommy and his quick, snappy style she does find it entertaining and she finds his smile charming. She likes to tease him and she tries not to feel too out of place around him. Growing up a princess is different than growing up a delinquent mutant after all.
She likes his strength, his kindness even if he doesn't show it in overt ways, and his kissing isn't half bad. Hey, princesses have hormones too. She's 19 now and she's had boyfriends before, but things have always gone wrong one way or another and she isn't entirely sure what she's looking for right now, but she knows she likes kissing him. She gets tangled up when she tries to think about it too much. She has a lot of insecurities and fears of abandonment and rejection from past events, but she doesn't want to think about it too hard. She just wants to enjoy being with him and she hopes he enjoys being with her.
