So maybe it really is real. I could really stay like this. [She's trying not to be as thrilled as she is because...what if it does go away? Won't it be harder then? Or what if one of her friends hurt themselves to make this possible?]

I've been wondering that too. I don't know. I have so many wonderful friends, but I don't know who would give up something like that for me.

...Or maybe it's more that so many of them might.

But... if they all seem alright, they can't have given up anything too horrible? And I'm sure they did it because they wanted you to be happy.
