[Euphie arrives at Ken's door, giving it a little knock before letting herself inside.] Ken, it's me.

[She walks over to where she spots him in the kitchen making lunch and promptly gives him an affectionate peck on the cheek. The table is covered with various ingredients and dishes and just a little off to the side is one of his guns. She's noticed he likes to keep them nearby at all times.] What are you making?

Miso.

Miso? [She blinks slowly as gears turn in her mind and a strange haze blankets her normal thoughts. Her voice is a little flatter when she speaks again.] That's right. You're Japanese, aren't you? [Her eyes land on the gun only a moment before her hands do.]

Quit joking, Euphie.

[Smiles sweetly.] I really like you, Ken. [Points the gun at him.]

.... Euphie? What are you doing?

I'll miss you. [BANG!]

[Blood splashes against the wall and Ken falls heavily. A moment later, Euphie smiles pleasantly into her already recording communicator. A tear slips down her cheek not matching her warm, friendly expression in the least.] Hello everyone, I have a little request. Could all of the Japanese people please kill yourselves? You should be able to find knives in your kitchen drawers or you could try jumping off of a tall building. Really, whatever you think is best. I'll come around to help the rest of you as soon as I can, but it's a big city so I'd really appreciate the help!

That was a very...enthusiastic curse. [The princess might be blushing a tiny bit.] I apologize for the unwelcome bidding, though I am glad I met some new people through it. And of course I'd like to honor the dates that were set up unless those people aren't interested. I'm not even entirely sure how many I won. [Embarrassed smile]

I wanted to apologize for the video some of you may have seen of my memories this weekend. It was... [No, there are really no adjectives that fit here. She just moves on.]

[She takes a deep breath as hard as that last part was, this is harder for her.] Also, I'm not sure how many of you knew him, but... [there's a pause as she tries to steady her voice] Suzaku Kururugi is gone.

[Have a brightly smiling princess on your video screens, City folk.] Isn't today just a good day? After everything that's happened I really want to just get out of the apartment and have adventures. Would anyone like to join me?

And we should go out to eat! [Because someone is actually hungry for the first time in a long time.]

[Euphie turns on the video, revealing herself standing outside near the apartments with a bag over her head. She giggles a little, which contrasts with the sad face carved into the bag itself. She's just following out a dare Hikaru had given her.]



Hi, everyone, I just wanted to clarify that I was under the curse to be a secret admirer a couple of days ago. I'm very sorry for any confusion or embarrassment that I might have caused. Zero, you were incredibly nice about it. Thank you so much, and I hope you didn't actually eat any of those horrible muffins. I don't know how I convinced myself they were a good idea!

Oh, and this is Euphemia for anyone who doesn't recognize me like this. [Giggles again.]

[She looks around her, not recognizing anything. There is a fountain close by though.]

Cornelia?

[Where was she before this? There was a bed and Suzaku was there. He was holding her hand and…had they been crying? It all felt blurry in her mind. She could make out the big shapes, but not the details.]

Zero?

Hello, is anyone there? [She continues speaking into the communicator. It isn't exactly the kind she is familiar with, but she just wants someone—anyone—to answer her.]

I think I'm lost. I need to get back to… [Where?] Does anyone know where I am?
