[Another gasp and her voice trembles.] When did that get there?

[But she already knows it's part of the curse even if she'd like to think otherwise, so she just stares. What else can she do? But how long can she do it?]

[He tries a smile, because he wants her to know she's okay. No angels in here]

[Looks around.] I can't believe I'm really here. I saw Demyx do that once or something like it.

[He reaches over and grabs a can and opens it for her.] Here!

The first time I managed to do that I was pretty sure I had been dreaming.

[She takes a drink. That is sweet! And she's going to just shut her eyes for a minute because they sting.]

I can see why. It's not the sort of thing you see where I'm from. Is it unusual where you're from?

Well it sort of isn't? I guess when I was a kid it was more common, before all depowering. But now it's unusual, to say the least.

[He mutters, and his eyes glow blue, and he slumps over a little after]

There used to be a lot of people with powers, but something happened, and most of them lost their powers.

[She watches the glowing eyes and it might remind her of a rather unpleasant experience with glowing eyes in her world, but she quickly puts that out of her mind when she notices him slumping. Reaching out, she touches his shoulder gently.] Billy? Are you all right?

[And now she's worried that bringing her there made him more tired, but it's a little late to prevent that.]

[He nods after a long minute]

Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just keeping this place nice and secure.

It's just up to me to stay awake until midnight.

Mm, yes or accidentally use them that way. [Moving on.] You could also not use them or only use them for yourself, but you choose to help people. I think that's wonderful.

Whatever these things are, they're too fast and they're too powerful. I'm more use keeping Neil and Todd safe.
