I've never really known anyone who was dead. It's kinda weird. [There's a little downturn of his lip, because she's young, and if she's dead there's probably a reason for it he wouldn't like.]

I understand. It's strange having died too. I wasn't really ready to believe it when I came here. I knew something was different, but I guess I thought if I just ignored it then it would go away. My memories were so confused and foggy then. It made it easier to pretend.

[She gives him an apologetic smile and brushes back a strand of her hair the breeze keeps knocking out of place.] I still just feel like a normal girl. Especially now that I'm alive again...at least here.

One of my friends traded his ability to fight for two months with the deities. He didn't tell me what he did. Not until I guessed. I wasn't sure what happened at first. I just knew I could feel my heart beating again and I was warm and hungry. You don't get hungry when you're city!dead. It's an odd thing to miss, but I did.
