[Where was she before this? There was a bed and Suzaku was there. He was holding her hand and…had they been crying? It all felt blurry in her mind. She could make out the big shapes, but not the details.]

Hello, is anyone there? [She continues speaking into the communicator. It isn't exactly the kind she is familiar with, but she just wants someone—anyone—to answer her.]

I'd like that. Even if we hadn't met before, at least we have that much in common. [And probably more since they are royalty. But to be an empress so young! It was still hard to imagine.]
