Her arm hangs outstretched, catching the whole thing, plus a sprig of mistletoe that was above them, on video. A moment later, they are both upright again, and he's making rushed apologies before leaving.]

Uh... [What was she going to say?] I'll have to call you back, City. [She blushingly turns the device off and continues on her way.]

I'm afraid we don't have a holiday like this, no. This is all new to me, these traditions and the people behind such traditions, such as Santa Claus.

The religion it comes from isn't that popular in my world, but the holiday itself has grown. It's nice. I like all the decorations and songs. Maybe not when the songs play all day [like in that curse] but it feels like a happy time.

The songs were very nice and filled with hope and cheer. I wouldn't mind listening to them a little bit more!

Maybe I should do just that. I would like to listen to them, especially when it's about giving and spreading cheer. It makes me wonder why people only feel this way in December...

Yes, I've noticed that people do have a better sense of generosity right now. It's almost like a spell has been cast on everyone!

While I would like to say it would be a good spell to cast, if it's overused, then that would make it feel so... fake.

I suppose it would be best if people gave because they wanted to rather than they were forced to.

I agree. It would mean so much more if it was by choice.

[A touch more somber.] People shouldn't be forced into things.
