But she isn't sure what else she has to offer. She started writing one a few times before deciding it needed to be in her own voice. She couldn't be so cowardly as to hide in a letter. She just needed another few minutes to make sure she could start without falling apart in the process.]

Hello. [Long pause.] I would like to apologize to everyone I spoke to yesterday and everyone who saw my awful, shocking post. I am especially sorry to Ken and Syaoran who I... [So much for keeping her voice together. The curse. Dean. Suzaku. It was a very, very emotional few days for her, but she was a princess. She needed to continue, so she did.] hurt. And of course to all of the Japanese for my hurtful words.

I am so very, very sorry.

Umi, Mara, Flynn, Yuri, Lelouch...thank you all so much for stopping me and for helping Ken and Syaoran. I am forever in your debt.

[Pause] Cain, I would like to take some time off of work.

Syaoran... [She's silent for a few moments. She heard him a little on the network yesterday, but she hadn't spoken to him since the curse. He should have gotten the flowers she sent via Umi. Of course she'd asked her not to say they were from her.]

[He's worried, too worried. He knew he had caused her a lot of pain.]

[Her eyes meet the flowers first because she can't quite look him in the eyes when she opens the door.] Syaoran...?

[And for a moment, he looks at you and remembers how he let himself give you pain for being reckless. But this is quickly replaced by a fond smile.] Euphemia-san...

[And then he blushes as he gives you the flowers.] Ah, and these are for you.

[She takes them a little numbly and her eyes start getting watery. Her emotions have been running very close to the surface. Is this how Lelouch felt when she showed him affection after remembering he shot her?] S-syaoran...

[omg omg she's crying!] A-ah! Euphemia-san, you're--!

[He searched his pockets for a handkerchief. Search. Search.]

[And then he smiles as he finds one and offer it to her.] Please don't cry. I-It's... I'm just glad to see you're doing well.

[She takes the offered handkerchief and daps at her eyes with one hand.] You aren't supposed to give the person who shoots you flowers.

[He smiles. He doesn't understand this logic.] I give it to an important friend who needs company right now.

[She steps back toward him and moves in to hug him—gently—in case it still hurts.]

[He's caught off guard by that hug as he blushes. If there's still pain, he didn't let it on.] Ah, Euphemia-san...?

[Is he awkwardly hugging you back? Oh, I think he is.]

I'm sorry, Syaoran. I'm so, so sorry. You were trying to help me and I shot you. If anything had happened to you... [Okay, maybe holding a little tighter.]
