They deserve more.

But she isn't sure what else she has to offer. She started writing one a few times before deciding it needed to be in her own voice. She couldn't be so cowardly as to hide in a letter. She just needed another few minutes to make sure she could start without falling apart in the process.]

Hello. [Long pause.] I would like to apologize to everyone I spoke to yesterday and everyone who saw my awful, shocking post. I am especially sorry to Ken and Syaoran who I... [So much for keeping her voice together. The curse. Dean. Suzaku. It was a very, very emotional few days for her, but she was a princess. She needed to continue, so she did.] hurt. And of course to all of the Japanese for my hurtful words.

I am so very, very sorry.

Umi, Mara, Flynn, Yuri, Lelouch...thank you all so much for stopping me and for helping Ken and Syaoran. I am forever in your debt.

[Pause] Cain, I would like to take some time off of work.

Of course they are. After all, I've killed people for much lesser reasons than those.

That's...that's an awful thing to say so cheerfully!

What does it matter if I say it cheerfully? If I were to talk about it solemnly and quietly, they'd be no less dead.

You can still respect or disrespect their memory.

I cared little about their lives; I care even less for their memories.

How can you say something like that? [Asks the girl who practically makes people sign a statement proving they have been a mass murderer at some point before getting close to them.]

Easily. I've cared little about human lives -- or memories -- for quite some time now. [Seriously? o.o]

That's awful. [Said both in disapproval and something like concern because something very bad must have happened to make you feel that way.] You aren't going to do anything like that here, are you?

[Well, not seriously, but it's kind of a family tradition... Herself, her father, the siblings who are closest to her, her knight, her boyfriend here in the city. Okay, he's just an assassin, not a mass murderer.]

I make no guarantees about my behavior in the City.

You mentioned someone named Cain in your post? I can only assume it's Cain Hargreaves; he and his little clan like to repeatedly remind me of what they'll supposedly do should I ever attempt anything.

You know Cain. [Maybe she should ask him about you.] He isn't the only one. There's no need for any trouble.

Cain is my ~~father's~~ adoptive father's son. So yes, I know him.

I have yet to cause any trouble of any real significance, but I cannot say it'll stay that way forever.
