[Euphie arrives at Ken's door, giving it a little knock before letting herself inside.] Ken, it's me.

[She walks over to where she spots him in the kitchen making lunch and promptly gives him an affectionate peck on the cheek. The table is covered with various ingredients and dishes and just a little off to the side is one of his guns. She's noticed he likes to keep them nearby at all times.] What are you making?

Miso.

Miso? [She blinks slowly as gears turn in her mind and a strange haze blankets her normal thoughts. Her voice is a little flatter when she speaks again.] That's right. You're Japanese, aren't you? [Her eyes land on the gun only a moment before her hands do.]

Quit joking, Euphie.

[Smiles sweetly.] I really like you, Ken. [Points the gun at him.]

.... Euphie? What are you doing?

I'll miss you. [BANG!]

[Blood splashes against the wall and Ken falls heavily. A moment later, Euphie smiles pleasantly into her already recording communicator. A tear slips down her cheek not matching her warm, friendly expression in the least.] Hello everyone, I have a little request. Could all of the Japanese people please kill yourselves? You should be able to find knives in your kitchen drawers or you could try jumping off of a tall building. Really, whatever you think is best. I'll come around to help the rest of you as soon as I can, but it's a big city so I'd really appreciate the help!



(OOC | Cursed with When I was dumb, which is taking her back to the time when she was geassed (mind controlled more or less) to "Kill all the Japanese." For people who know where Ken lives and are arriving to stop her or point and laugh, etc., she will attempt to kill anyone who is Japanese or anyone who tries to stop her from killing the Japanese. She won't be successful in harming you unless we've worked something out in advance or through OOC notes or some such thing. Blue is Ken (bladed_siberian). Magenta is Euphie. It's around noon on Sunday even though I'm posting niiiice and close to midnight.

Edit: To cut down on breaking time, I'd like to limit action threads. If your character would show up I don't want to say you can't! You are welcome. I just want to get everything happening as one since it kind of needs to on this set up. For now watch Umi's thread as the main action one. ♥)

[He turns to gaze at Umi, but this falters as his vision gets more blurry. In a few more moments, he loses his consciousness as he drops to the floor in a thud.]

[Mara arrives in time to hear the other woman speak and watch her move. She stands in the doorway a moment, taking in the horrific scene. One woman, with a gun - Euphie she guessed - another nearby, Ken in the kitchen, badly hurt but her senses told her it wasn't fatal.

The other boy wasn't going to be so lucky. His life was ending and there wasn't anything to be done for him. She turns to unknown woman and speaks.]

If you have power to stop her use it, or I will and mine's fatal. If she's cursed, I'd hate to kill her in ignorance.

[She doesn't wait for any kind of acknowledgment and keeping an eye on the gun, she heads to check on Ken.]

Ken! [Sounds relieved actually, but it flattens out again.] I'll need to use another bullet then. I hope you have more somewhere.

[And there is more company.]

Oh, another arrival. But you aren't Japanese at all. [Sounds disappointed.] I'll be with you in a minute I need to kill Umi and Ken again. [She'll be firing in Umi's direction unless stopped.]

(OOC: Syaoran is really just unconscious.)

She IS cursed. And you're not touching her.

[Umi's voice is final. She doesn't know who this other woman may be, but she can sense the concern and anger in her and completely relate to it. Still, there's no time or way for her to express this. The Water Knight's eyes remain on Euphie all along.]

This is going to be hard enough on her once it's over. And neither Ken nor Syaoran would want her harmed.

[The moment she's done saying those words, Umi's watery aura blazes awake along with her magic.]

Mizu no Ryuu!

[She knows Euphie will be focused on firing the gun, so that gives her the chance to conjure and send a stream of water on Euphie's direction.

First the gun is soaked, then the moment the water blast surrounds the other girl, Umi's aura changes, growing colder, willing the water to freeze both the gun and the streaming circle around Euphie. That's the only way to restrain without hurting her that she can think of, without the chance to cast any binding spells like the ones Fuu masters.]

[So the boy dying on the floor had a name, did he? Pity Mara can't be moved to care at the moment as she is far more concerned for Ken lying on the floor. He can be saved, the other one can't.

Her eyes widen slightly at the other woman's show of power as she leaves the room, but she turns away to check on her friend as she makes her way into the kitchen.]

Ken... Ken can you hear me?

[ooc: I'm actually off for bed, so don't wait on me, Mara will just be in the kitchen fussing over Ken and ignoring most everything else - his mun can mod Mara if it becomes necessary.]

[ This is Flynn following after Yuri at first, but since Yuri has given him the address to Euphie's whereabouts, he eventually takes the lead. This Flynn is a mess, with mud caking his armor, clothes, and hair-- but he grips his sword in his side like he usually does, ready for whatever situation awaits him and Yuri. ]

[ And this is Flynn entering the apartment and into mayhem. Yay! ]

[Sorry for all of this. Not just what just happened but what's to come too. Umi's tone is still too angry and determined to sound as hurt as she really feels. Ken... Syaoran... Euphie too, whenever this horrible curse releases her. Just how much more HARM can the City do?

Umi lowers her hand, the air around her still crisp and icy, her expression weary but steadfast.]

I just couldn't think of anything else to do. I can't let you keep this up, Euphie...

[Only now can Umi notice the newcomers and turn to them, though she has the more pressing urge to go check on Ken and Syaoran now the situation seems under control, at least for the moment.]

I can keep it from being too cold on her. But we can always use something else instead... [She looks around, finally gazing at Yuri and Flynn for suggestions.] Anything?What about police handcuffs? Ken works for the Assault Team!

Handcuffs would probably do it- they're a little less abrasive than rope, anyway. Someone's gotta keep an eye on her so she doesn't run off, too.

[ is this really the scene that Lelouch is walking in on? really? really? this... this is partially his fault. no, it's all his fault. this is his doing.. when he speaks it's his no-nonsense and all commanding tone. damn well better listen to him too. ]

[Umi's voice sounds rather pleading, also hopeful. If this guy's magic is anything like Fuu's that could save both Syaoran and Ken! She doesn't care who Yuri and Flynn may be as long as they're willing to help them, and Euphemia too. She nods toward the frozen bonds.]

I'll get rid of that as soon as we find those cuffs.

[Then, all of a sudden, another person enters the room. Umi's instinctively on her guard, though relaxes as much as the tense situation allows when she sees he sounds as concerned as they are.]

[ Flynn nods and is briefly distracted by Lelouch's entry before heading towards the injured people- he tries to get them both at once, but he puts the one who looks worse for wear first. In this case, Syaoran.

He chants for a Cure spell. Two spells to close up those wounds a bit and eas their pain... ]

[Her eyes light up and the smile returns when Lelouch enters the room. She even stops thrashing against her restraints. Instead she stands there calmly.] Brother! I knew you'd come.

[ yes, Lelouch spares a glance to Yuri and nods. he's going to hand off a note to him real quick that reads:

"Follow my lead then get the injured healed or to the hospital. I need one person with me in a few minutes to take her home."

he looks around to assess the situation next. hnn. well if this isn't just perfect. there's a suitcase on his person and he sets it down as he walks in front of Euphie. a gentle smile spreads across his face. there's a tinge of SOMETHING in his eyes, and then the emotion is gone. ]

Of course I would. I promised that I would help.

[ he's not taking his eyes of of her as he speaks next. ]

We need a moment alone. Restraints aren't necessary.

[Her brother? ...Yes, Umi seems to remember Euphie mentioning him once or twice. She still hesitates about removing the restraints. In this condition Euphie is certainly dangerous. Umi isn't quite sure about what can her brother possibly do to contain her in case she tries to reach for another weapon.]

Are you sure about that? She's pretty badly cursed. [Of course, as far as Umi's knowledge goes, this is all the City's fault and she isn't sure exactly how does the curse work.] The last thing we want is for her to harm someone else.

[It seems like trying their luck far too much. But if Euphie's brother is willing to vouch for her, then Umi'll leave the matter in his hands. She's in a hurry to check on Syaoran and Ken.]
